Jyotsna Srikanth is a sought after South Indian Carnatic violinist and composer.She is an all rounder who has given numerous South Indian classical (Carnatic) solo concerts, jugalbandhi concerts and jazz-fusion concerts from accompanying musicians of repute like Dr Balamuralikrishna.She is featured in many major global music events and venues like The Music Academy - Chennai, WOMAD - UK, Red Violin Festival – Wales, North Atlantic Fiddle Convention - Scotland, BBC Proms, Royal Albert Hall, South Bank Centre - Queen Elizabeth Hall - London, Barbican - London and many more major venues and festivals across the world. She received fellowship from Trinity College of Music, London, the Ganakalashree award from Karnataka Ganakala Parishat and Rotary Excellence Award from the Rotary Club.She has also composed music for albums, dance ballets and short films. She has also played violin for nearly 300 Indian films under music directors like Ilaiyaraaja.She is a medical doctor, a postgraduate in Pathology.Jyotsna is the Artistic Director of the London International Arts Festival and Dhruv ArtsJyotsna’s most memorable concert was the performance for UKWelcomesModi event where she composed and performed with the London Philharmonic Orchestra for 60000 people at the Wembley Stadium during the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to UK, in the presence of Mr David Cameron in London,UK. Jyotsna was invited to perform in the Buckingham Palace for a specially commissioned music in a very special setting for the Formal Opening of the Commonwealth Head's Meeting.
