✨ My commitment: to make visible that which power and privilege has rendered invisible, and to carry an expansive vision of liberation that is holistic and rooted in joy. ✨Hey there! 👋🏽I’m India, an entrepreneur, educator, and consultant who helps others boldly chase joy. After over a decade of working with businesses to improve their equity practices and organizational culture, I realized that something was sorely missing from the organizations and daily lives of the business owners I worked with; you know what that thing was? Joy! That realization went on to drastically change my work and life. Dubbing myself a “joy ambassador,” I encourage people to put the joy back into their work. Through my consulting practice I support organizations in creating joyful and equitable workplaces where employees thrive and find fulfillment. As well as, small business owners in building their businesses with their joy in mind so they can grow their business without sacrificing their greatest vision for their life. A big believer that life is too short for work that doesn’t bring you joy, my goal is to help people breakout of the cycle of hustle, stress, and burnout to align their work with their joy. I have expertise in the areas of process improvement, learning and development, organizational visioning and strategic planning, employee resource groups, leading difficult conversations with diverse stakeholders; helping organizations create infrastructures and procedures that allows for long-term equity-minded success. I bring to my work experience as an educator and scholar. Currently completing her doctorate, India’s research background is in critical race theory, queer theory, gender, religion, and love (yes love 💕). My research background helps me to turn complex topics into easy to understand information. A multi-passionate entrepreneur I host an event series in San Diego called The Joy Break, designed to make intentional time for fun. I’ve also co-founded Moxie Consultancy Collective and created Omi Picnics, a luxury picnic company. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with her family, horseback riding, binging RomComs, singing and dancing, and eating pizza 🍕.Let's connect!
