India Williams was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, but now feels lucky to call Los Angeles her home. India is currently VP of Operations at ScaleHealth, an organization supporting the acceleration of healthtech across the US and internationally. ScaleHealth’s efforts to accelerate, implement and scale innovation allow for improved access to care and quality of care that is crucial to supporting the health of our community members. Additionally, India is proud to be Executive Director of ScaleInspire (formerly ScaleLA Foundation), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit on a mission to inspire purpose in our community by leveraging entrepreneurial thinking to solve society's greatest challenges. ScaleInspire’s flagship program, Mentor2Mentor, pairs high school youth from diverse backgrounds with business-minded college students and executives from both the startup world and some of the largest innovative tech companies. Through ScaleInspire hackathons, design challenges and programs, participants have ideated creative solutions to support the success of foster youth, houseless youth, first-generation college students, and youth and families struggling with mental health. In addition to her career achievements, in 2017, India accomplished a major life goal when she won the title of Miss California USA at just 20 years old. During her year, she worked with numerous non-profit organizations and even placed in the Top 10 at Miss USA. This experience is what sparked her passion for being a positive contributor to her community. Throughout all of her endeavors, India’s primary goal is to cultivate a healthy culture rooted in supporting the growth of our community across various geographic, demographic and social sectors.
