Creating engaging, human stories on residents in 17th century New Amsterdam to accompany a temporary exposition at Het Scheepvaartmuseum (The National Maritime Museum), Amsterdam, and a permanent display at South Street Seaport Museum, New York.My pieces focused on the positions of Native American and enslaved people within and around the settlement. I was also responsible for editing the full body of wall texts and invigilating the exhibition at Het Scheepvaartmuseum.

Analytical researcher for City Archives Amsterdam, building a pragmatic, holistic historiography of the Holland Land Company using the city’s archival documents. Visitor guide and information assistant for the permanent collection displays, as well as the “Sublime Symmetry” (William de Morgan) and the “Gatekeepers to Heaven: Religion, Knowledge and Power in Medieval Exeter” temporary displays.
