Pursuing a career in the Retail Industry, currently studying as an undergraduate in the Jim Morant College of Entrepreneurship at Florida State University, Tallahassee FL. Additionally pursuing a minor in General Psychology. My previous employment includes working at Nordstrom Rack where I was a Cashier and received great experience in a fast-paced Retail setting, I also worked at Wolfe-Rizor Interiors (Interior Design Boutique) as an organizational assistant where I got hands-on experience designing spaces for clients. Currently I run a small business on the resell platform Depop where I curate my own collection of Fashion clothing and accessories relevant and at a reasonable price for fellow sustainable online shoppers like myself. My volunteer work includes volunteering for Catholic Charities of Central Florida where I worked in a Food Bank sorting, cleaning, and arranging donations for families in need. I additionally volunteered as an actor for the Y I Count Organization where I acted in a music video against bullying and was an interviewee for a documentary with the same organization. I am proficient in the Spanish language with English as my first language, I can thoroughly and strategically organize any space, I am organized, polite, hard-working, I pay close attention to details, I can be persuasive, helpful, and I am willing to learn what I don’t know so that I can be a better employee all around. Overall, I always aim to do what's best for the company I am working for while helping my customers the best I can, treating everyone with dignity and respect. In retail I am most interested in the areas of Buying, Designing/Production, or Styling clothing and accessories throughout the industry. My dream job would be working in either production of clothing, styling, or buying. Any realm where I get to make aesthetic design choices myself, whether that be for a company, an individual, or for the items themselves. I’d love to work somewhere that is known to be a fashion hub like New York, Philadelphia, or another large city where I can collaborate-with and appreciate the work of others. I have always loved clothes, furniture, and aesthetic design that is also functional for each individual. Self expression has always fascinated and intrigued me, and the retail industry pertains the most towards one’s self-expression. I always want to encourage others to reflect in their appearance who they feel they really are and I am always interested in following that aspect within myself.
