Facilitating commercial ties between Denmark & Asia

I’ve been visiting India and Pakistan on a regular basis since 1990, as a student of history and a backpacker off the beaten track. I’ve sifted through colonial documents at the National Archives in New Delhi, Lahore and Islamabad, and spent 5 month in Peshawar doing research for my thesis on the British Raj and the Pashtun tribes. Recently I’ve been visiting India in connection with my ongoing book project, focusing on the social, political and economic upheavals happening in India since 1990. See also my website: www.indien.dk. My impetus for the book is a desire to provide a deeper understanding about India in Denmark. It’s my belief that the Danish perception of India is characterized by either a lack of interest, or by a classic orientalist view, that India is either profane or divine – either marred by poverty and caste oppression, or highly spiritual and very mystical. Compared to the size and importance of India today, I believe the Danish media coverage as well as our commercial ties are below par. I think we’re missing out, and want to address this. I have solid experience as a presenter, both as an IT consultant and project manager, and as an historian working at Danish folk high schools; Grundtvigs højskole and Isterød højskole. Be it workshops, lectures or classic class-based training, I aim to make the sessions as entertaining as possible, knowing all too well that boredom kills any comprehension.

General understanding of affiliated SAP modules and integration: R/3, BW, CRM, SRM. Firsthand experience of related HCM business processes and change management procedures. Completed several end-to-end projects as technical consultant, team lead, solution architect and project manager; from initial project preparation to blueprinting, implementation, test, hyper care, support and facilitating AMO/HRO outsourcing. Projects include major Payroll and Time Management roll-outs. My customer portfolio covers 30+major Scandinavian public and private sector companies.
