Indigo Rosee is my cruelty free lash business (indigoroseeshop.com), that I have built alone since late 2018. Instagram: @indigoroseebeautyTiktok: @indigoroseebeautySome of my key achievements whilst running my business include: Planned and executed a launch party in January 2019 for the launch of Indigo Rosee Beauty, with 30 bloggers and content creators from the local area. Successfully managed 20-60 inbound customer requests per day, replying to all social media messages to an Instagram platform of 5k, and fulfilling orders quickly from my home. Discovered, secured relationships with, and negotiated new terms and prices with a long term supplier. Raised over £1000 for ‘Bloody Good Period’ through selling and promoting the limited edition ‘Lotus’ Lash. Designed and implemented social media strategy, with clear emphasis on Instagram and TikTok to meet the needs of my target audience. This strategy has generated over 750,000 TikTok impressions monthly.

I set up my blog ‘Indigo Rosee’ (www.indigorosee.com) in October 2016 as a creative outlet to share my passion for beauty. However, as time progressed, Indigo Rosee became more of a lifestyle blog, where I document my experiences of navigating life as a student in 2020. The kind of posts you can expect to find include event reviews, studying tips, style posts, student tips and tricks, behind the scenes of running a small business and so on. I also use various social media platforms on a daily basis to promote my blog, grow my following and interact with readers and fellow bloggers.I am very proud of what I have achieved over the past 3 years, and I have had the opportunity to work alongside some fantastic companies and build strong professional relationships. Examples of these include moonpig, Lush, The Botanist, Nars and Boohoo on both paid and gifted collaborations. In addition to this, I also won ‘Best Fashion content’ at the teenage blog awards in July 2018.

I have been a part-time sales assistant at Quiz Clothing alongside completing my degree. Throughout working at Quiz Clothing I have developed the following skills: Core customer service and communication skills in a fast paced environment, allowing me to have hands on experience in retail. Allowed insight into consumer behaviour in fashion retail, through analysing sales reports and looking at customer behaviour within store. Completing daily tasks and paperwork unaided, such as end of day reports, looking at KPI’s, daily sales tracking and logging new deliveries in a timely manner.

Remote

A month long remote work experience placement, working on developing my social media marketing skills. Designed and created a full social media strategy for a Malaysian based essential oils brand, with Instagram content and suitable templates to be posted for 6 months after the work experience completion date. Researched suitable influencers for the campaign, hashtag strategy and created caption ideas for the brand, alongside responding to feedback and adapting the strategy to suit the tastes and previous themes of the brand.
