Let's see.....I am the youngest girl out of 6 kids ranging from 19-45. So not only was I the "baby" and "Spoiled" by my parents, I was also the "baby" and left out of the much cooler things my older siblings did. This led me to seek out friendships in school and everywhere in between. Although my report cards always stated that I talked a lot during class, I was always the go-to student to show all new kids around as well as make them feel comfortable- and that is my thing. I like to talk to people make them feel comfortable and let them learn to trust me in whatever sense they see fit.A little deeper.....I got kicked out on my 20th birthday- what a BUMER- for staying out past curfew, after finally getting my mom to extend it to 11pm... I mean, it was my TWENTIETH BIRTHDAY, but I broke the rule and had to suffer the consequences. I had to think quickly and find somewhere to stay- I had no savings and was making $13 an hour working at the front desk of a doctors office. I had to be resourceful and budget to make ends meet. I had to find second jobs, side hustles, and anything else to help me pay my bills, just so I didn't have to beg my mom to let me come back home. Even at the times when my mother insisted I can move back, I couldn't put aside my pride because I vowed to myself that I won't go back home. That I needed to show her that unlike all my siblings that left and came back, this "spoiled" girl wasn't going to do the same.What does all this have to do with me? Well, its all what made me, me. Add in my daughter and my love for outside adventures, I learned to understand people, learned how to communicate with different personalities without making anyone feel small or belittled. I learned how to calm the angry man on the phone who made my co-worker cry, or calm down the Karen who is yelling at the girl at check-out. It made me want to be the best version of myself so that I never have to wonder where I am going to stay or how I am going to make the bills. I've learned the ins and outs of sales, the people, the customer, and the different industry- and if there's one key thing I've learned from it all, is that being the "baby sister" of my siblings has made me the best person I could possibly be and that being kicked out so young allowed me to follow a path that led me to being the sales person I am today.
