I am currently a Manager with Stax Inc., a global strategy consulting firm which serves Fortune 500 clients, top private equity investors, and private equity portfolio companies with offices in Boston, Chicago, New York, and Colombo, Sri Lanka. My responsibilities include;• Business Development and Project Management (Feb 2014 – Jan 2019) — Developing client relationships and creating value though delivering data driven insights, implications and recommendations to facilitate improved decision making. Collaborating with our clients and ensuring timely delivery. • Relationship Manager for Boston Operations (Feb 2014 – Jan 2019) —Leading the delivery of research, consumer and data analytics work streams for projects run by Stax Boston office. Communicating with Directors, Managers and Consultants from Boston daily and ensure high quality work out put is delivered by agreed upon deadline. • Team Lead, Consumer Insights (Feb 2013 – Jan 2018) —Function as the firm wide expert in advance survey analytics such as Conjoint Analysis, Max-diff Scaling, Price Sensitivity Analysis and Customer Segmentation's. Manage the Consumer Insights team, prioritize and optimize engagements. Leading product development, recruitment and creating relationships with online list vendors. Selected engagements:• Advised an Australia based legal software provider to better understand the changes in user preferences and threats from regulatory changes. Study involved extensive primary and secondary research on evolving customer needs and competitor strategies in the legal software space.• Helped a global, Fortune 500 equipment manufacturing company to identify their customer needs and identify the key features to focus for their future engine design. Study involved assessing the competitive landscape, customer satisfaction and channel dynamics in US and EU, while identifying the key product features through Max-diff scaling.

Before being promoted as a Manager, I held the post of a Consultant and the Team Lead of the Consumer Insights team at Stax Inc. As a consultant my responsibilities included independently summarizing and presenting key findings, and work closely with Managers and Directors to convert team findings into valuable insights and actionable recommendations. As a Consultant, I managed more than 40 projects in many global markets. On product development front, I took a lead in developing a simplified version of Maxdiff analysis called “Q-Sort” which is now commonly used in Stax projects. In addition I conducted firm wide trainings on techniques such as Choice Based Conjoint Analysis, Van Westendorp PSM and Maxdiff Scaling. Software capabilities: • Expert programming capabilities using Sawtooth Software – Attended the Sawtooth training in Shanghai, China in 2012• Expert in SPSS – Conducted a training session for 2nd year students in ACBT, Sri Lanka.• Experience in using SAS, R, Minitab, Qualtrics, Survey Monkey and Lime Survey.

Before being promoted as a Consultant, I held the post of a Senior Analyst in the Consumer Insights team at Stax Inc. As a Senior Analyst, I managed more than 30 projects in US, EU and Asia, dealing with many large private equity funds, Fortune 500 companies and venture capitalists, on projects ranging from M&A, commercial due diligence, customer satisfaction, employee engagement, concept design and marketing strategy.I was involved in product development, recruitment and training junior analysts, providing them with insights and guiding them throughout a project. During this period, I specialized in pricing research and concept design through Choice Based Conjoint Analysis, Van Westendorp PSM and Maxdiff Scaling. I also functioned as the Assistant Team Lead of the Consumer Insights team from November 2013. Selected projects:Led an engagement helping a top global private equity client in due diligence of security services company across 8 countries (6 languages) in North America, South America and EU. Objectives included assessing how customers and value the target's product portfolio, understanding the competitive landscape in each country, studying satisfaction of customers and testing the viability of a new product offering of the target company was about to release in all market trough Choice Based Conjoint analysis.

Before being promoted as a Senior Analyst, I held the post of a Business Analyst in the Consumer Insights team at Stax Inc. As a Business Analyst I was involved in providing in-depth research across all industry areas to support client work, providing our clients with insightful analysis, recommendations regarding customer attitudes, employee satisfaction, competitive landscape, customer segmentation strategies, etc. During the time period I managed few projects and supported multiple projects. Insights were generated using research methodologies that leveraged both primary (web surveys, phone interviews, mystery shopping, etc.) and secondary sources (IBIS world, LexisNexis, ZoomInfo, Hoovers, etc.).

Before joining Stax Inc. as a Business Analyst, I held the post of a Demonstrator at University of Colombo. As a Demonstrator my responsibilities include;• Administrator of the computational chemistry research facility of the Department of Chemistry.• Lecturing and conducting tutorial sessions for the 1st year students on computational chemistry and physical chemistry.• Maintaining accounts for the income generated through the computational chemistry research facility.

Before joining University of Colombo as a Demonstrator, I interned at Unilever Sri Lanka for a brief period of 6 weeks. During this time period, I was involved with the Quality Assurance department learning about the quality control process in place at the company.
