Interblocks is a solutions provider for the global banking, financial services and telecom markets. Interblocks has a large client base consisting of most private banks in Sri Lanka and multiple clients from Africa, Middle-East, South and East Asia.My duties at Interblocks include system product development implementation, quality assurance and software operationsI have involved multiple projects for foreign clients such as Eco Bank, Skye Bank, Intercontinental Bank - Nigeria and Sri Lankan clients such as NDB bank, Nations Trust Bank, Pan Asia Bank, Sampath Bank and Union Bank. The Projects which I involved for the above clients are Internet Payment Gateways, ATM Switches, Credit Card Management Systems, Debit Card Management Systems, and Internet Banking Systems.My responsibilities in these projects software implementation, data migration, operational issue fixing, identifying client requirements, technical training and manage quality assurance process and user acceptance testing.Though I joined as a software engineer (Java, GNU C), got a opportunity to cover the full software life cycle and as unique experiences are VISA, Master and Amex transaction switch integration with ISO 8583 message format, general purpose HSM (Hardware security module) integration for ensure the transaction security. Credit Card management system also gave me a great exposure in terms of security implementation at message transportation layer and ATM and other card touch points such as POS device, KIOSK etc.
