As a highly motivated and accomplished chemist, I am pursuing my Ph.D. in Chemistry at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai. With a passion for understanding the fundamentals of chemistry, I have consistently excelled in my academic pursuits, securing top ranks in my secondary and higher secondary exams, and being the recipient of several merit-cum-means scholarships.During my academic journey, I have gained proficiency in various chemical and spectroscopic techniques such as NMR spectroscopy, UV Spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, mass and EPR spectroscopy, and Rheometer, BET instrument, TGA, and DSC instrument. I am also experienced in using various instruments like Density and viscometer, Karl-Fischer titrator, DLS instrument, and software such as Origin, EC Lab, ChemDraw, and MATLAB. My expertise in CO2 gas capturing and its storage, catalyst synthesis and its characterization, and Phase equilibrium advanced thermodynamics have been key to my research work.As a blogger and member of Energy Consortium-IIT Madras, I have contributed to the development of innovative ideas and solutions related to sustainable energy sources. In addition, I have served as a Placement Coordinator and Lab safety in charge, demonstrating my leadership and organizational skills.My research work is focused on the synthesis of novel superbase ionic liquids and their analysis of their interactions with CO2- A thermodynamic approach towards the rational design of efficient absorbent for CO2 capture and regeneration. I have published several research articles in prestigious journals such as the Journal of Molecular Liquids and Crystal Growth & Design.In addition to my academic pursuits, I have also gained valuable teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant for B. Tech Chemistry Lab and Classes, M.Sc. Chemistry Lab, and as an Assistant Teacher at Dr. G S Kalyanasundaram Memorial School. My excellent communication skills have helped me convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner, which has been well-received by students and colleagues alike.Overall, I am a dedicated, hardworking individual with a strong passion for chemistry and a desire to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in this field. I am confident that my skills, experience, and passion will make me a valuable addition to any team or organization working in the field of chemistry or related fields.
