Construction of Substations and general electrification works of Kolkata metro project.

Handling activities encompassing estimation, survey and erection of 11KV H.T line (12 Km ) along with the commissioning of 1MVA, 500KVA, 63KVA substations (11/0.440 KV) with all its accessories and Switchgear Units. Erection commissioning of 2.5 MVA transformers along with survey and erection of 66 KV transmission line. Erection & Maintenance of 66/11KV substation along with the transmission lines. Interconnection of 11KV HT line with 2x2.5 MVA , 66/11KV substation of Energy & Power Dept. , Govt. Of Sikkim through VCB panel . Ensuring illumination of sites and roads along with the illumination of road diversion tunnel. Development of metering and billing procedures at different project sites chargeable to various contractors. Liaising with Senior Officers of Power Department to ensure smooth running of work. Preparation of BOQ , Bills for various works at site. Preparation of deviation statements Preparation of bar charts , DPR s , and Cycle Times of various works being executed at site. In charge of O & M of all electrical installations at site. Material handling of BOP equipments (Siemens India Ltd.) Procurement of materials at lowest market rate. Preparation of comparative statements. Overseeing activities encompassing: Erection of Electromechanical equipments at Power House. Testing of transformers (PI Test, IR Test, BDV Test etc). Earthing of various electrical installations including chemical earthing and charcoal salt earthing. Laying and testing of of HT and LT cables. Cable termination and cable jointing. Laying and testing of earth mats in Power House & switch yard area. Erection commissioning of Radio Communication system with installation and commissioning of Repeater and Base stations (Motorola Make) . Earth Resistivity testing. Overhead LT distribution systems. Survey of 220 KV D/C transmission line. Preparation of BOQ. Supervision of Power House stabilization works.

Key Result Areas:Handling installation & programming of building and office automation systems marketed by Schneider Electric using occupancy and motion detecting sensors as well as programmable neo switches with the help of C-Bus control Units.Responsible for the full office automation of SAPOORJI & PALLOONJI at Sector V in Salt Lake. Achievements Office lighting automation of SAPOORJI&PALLONJI office with motion sensors.
