Results-oriented Civil Engineer with a strong foundation in engineering principles and extensive experience in irrigation engineering, project management, and construction supervision. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated expertise in surveying, investigations, BOQ/estimation, procurement/logistics, and construction supervision.My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka, where I also achieved Associate membership status. Additionally, I completed a Diploma in Irrigation Engineering from the Irrigation Training Institute Galgamuwa, Sri Lanka, further enhancing my technical knowledge in the field.In my most recent role as a Divisional Engineer at the Irrigation Department Sri Lanka in Monaragala, I provided overall supervision of operations and maintenance for existing irrigation structures while managing project activities to ensure timely completion. I led design, estimation, and supervision efforts for new construction works, fostering effective collaboration with stakeholders and ensuring compliance with quality standards.Before this, I held various roles including Irrigation Engineer, Project Engineer, and Engineering Assistant, accumulating over two decades of experience in the industry. During this time, I honed my skills in team leadership, stakeholder engagement, and resource management, contributing to the successful implementation of numerous projects.With a proven track record of delivering high-quality results and driving continuous improvement initiatives, I am committed to leveraging my expertise to tackle complex challenges and make meaningful contributions to future endeavors in the field of civil engineering.
