As the State Lead of the FLN initiative in Assam, I am responsible for managing the State Project Management Unit and supporting the Assam Government to reach the mission's goal. This goal is to assist central and state governments in implementing their initiatives, plans, and programs to ensure that all children gain fundamental literacy and numeracy skills by Grade 3, so that they can progress from 'learning to read' to 'reading to learn'.
