25+ years of hands on S&M experience in a variety of Industries in IT and Telecom. Started career as a Sales Manager in PCL in 1993 and moved from IT hardware to HECL in 1996 as Account Manager for selling Satellite Telecom (VSAT ) equipment. Worked in various roles and positions in TCS from 1999 till 2005 with a 2 year stint in UK as a Delivery Manager for Large Programs in United Utilities, Manchester. Joined Intel India in 2005 in the Enterprise solutions group as Business Development Manager (BDM) handling Government and Large Enterprise business in East, Northeast India and Bangladesh since 2005. Primary role in Intel was to interface with End User accounts as an influencer for technology adoption in Servers and Mobile platforms, Market Expansion activities in education and e-Governance programs with state Governments was also a key part of the strategic initiatives managed as part of the role. Moved to Bangalore for heading the Intel online sales program for education market expansion across India. Was responsible for leading a large team of influencers to support education institutions and partners to implement education solutions based on Intel technologies.Currently engaged in business consulting for the small and medium business ecosystem and startups, supporting business development and GTM Strategy, product design and marketing strategy in multiple companies.
