Project Brief- Arrangements, groups, assemblies, sub-assemblies & parts of- hydraulic systems of excavators as per design standards of company; followed by drafting & creation of production drawing for manufacturing purpose. Role- Identifying errors in 3D models viz. change level mismatch, rectifying the quantity mismatch, creation of new models & assembling to match main arrangements. Tools Used- Pro/Engineer-Wildfire 4.0, PDM- PLM Team center.Senior Engineer at M/s. Customer- Hindustan Springs Responsibilities- Designing of Fixture for springs to achieve different end conditions for seating of spring in its location on different machines. Role- 3D Modeling, assembling of die & fixture for spring cutting; release of production drawing for manufacturing of die & fixture. Tools Used- 3D Modeling in Catia.

Role- Technical specification data of turbine and generator given by customers were used to calculate & design the gearbox & its internals. Customer- Southern Cogen Systems Responsibilities- Design of waste treatment plant for safe disposal of industrial waste. Project Brief- Setting up heat treatment plant after studying pre-existing plant layout of customer. Role- 3D modeling of waste treatment plant to check space constraints with existing company plan. Analysis of thermally exposed components to check thermal conductivity & convection. Tools Used- 3D Modeling using UG-NX-4;& Solid works & Analysis using Ansys.

Customer- Defence Food Research Laboratory, Mysuru Responsibilities- Design of Packing Machines Project Brief- for long term storage of food item like coconut water, a packing machine was constructed, which was portable and semi-automatic. It was specially designed to pack eatables contained in aluminum foil. Role- 3D Modeling of packing machine, creation of production drawing & manuals to use machine. Tools Used- 3D Modeling by Pro-E & Solidworks Key Highlights- Designing as per Defense requirement to preserve processed food item for long period.

Responsibilities- Standardization of off-way vehicles’ bumpers. Project Brief- Indigenization of B.E.M.L collaborated Komatsu off-way vehicles to suit local requirements as per ISO standards. Role- Existing components of the off-way vehicles were physically measured for 3d modeling, drafting; & creation of production drawing. Ansys was used to analyze components at the time of change in design like- bending operation was replaced by welding. Some of the existing casting Auto-CAD drawing was converted to 3d models for assembling & analysis. Tools used- Pro/engineer-wildfire 2.0, Ansys.
