Brief biodata is as belowShri I.K.Pandey, an Eminent Engineer supernuated from the post of Director General (Road Development) & Special Secretary, as the head of Roads Wing, which is the nodal organisation of the country responsible for development and maintenance of National Highways, administration of central Road Fund and formulation of policies, specification and guidelines thereof. He graduated in the year 1982 in Civil Engineering and pursued a course of Masters in Foundation Engineer from MACT Bhopal and secured Gold medal. He has also successfully completed a number of international courses. During his career spanning over 35 years, he had successfully got executed number of prestigious Highways and bridge projects & resolved contractual disputes successfully. He as convener of apex committees of IRC namely GSS General, HSS, BSS was instrumental in finalizing and approval of number of IRC specification and Codes. As an active member of Board of Directors of NHAI and NHIDCL the two main agencies of MoRTH, he was guiding them in all technical and contractual matters. He was also playing a key role in harnessing technical expertise of academic Institutes and associating them in research and development of highway infrastructure through introduction of new technology and innovation for accelerating pace of construction, reducing time and cost of construction.Besides have great interst in environmental protection, sustainable infra development, dispute resolution/Arbitration and also in Astrology.
