Project: Supply Chain connect (SCC)Client: GE Transportation, a Wabtec CompanyRole : Full Stack Senior Java DeveloperSupply Chain connect is a web based supply chain management application to be used by internal(Ge users) and suppliers for their daily use. Internal users use this application for updating PO data, uploading inventories, updating shipment process times for the suppliers etc. Suppliers use this tool for accepting / rejecting PO’s, providing PO promise dates, initiating shipments etc. This application has multiple modules like Ware House management, PO Collaboration, shipment integration, approved supplier process etc. This application is built using advanced java tools and hosted on cloud.Work description/ Responsibilities:• Followed Agile Software development (Scrum) across all the projects to deliver a potentially shippable set of functionalities every iteration, provided the agility to respond to rapidly changing requirements.• Involved in creating Spring Micro services for operating backend data services and connector APIs• Involved in developing and troubleshoots Frond end applications using Angular JS and Polymer.• Used Spring STS, IntelliJ IDEA, POSTMAN, PgAdmin as IDE’s for development.• Involved in deploying & debugging applications in PREDIX platform.• Involve in migrating application from PREDIX to AWS.• Involved in build and deploying code in development environment using Jenkins.• Involved in using Cloud foundry CLI to push the application into the Predix Cloud and also analyze the logs for tracking any issues.Technologies Used: Java, Spring, Spring REST Webservices, Spring Security using Predix UAA, SpringBoot, Spring JPA, Postgres, Spring Actuator, Spring STS & IntelliJ, WebStorm, GitHub, Rally, PREDIX, Pivotal Cloud foundry, RabbitMQ, Angular JS
