Current• Responsible for performing desktop publishing functions in the creation, revision, pdf processing and scanning of Shuttle and International Space Station [FDF/ODF] technical documentation adhering to internal procedures, templates/standards per customer requirements utilizing the current software/hardware.• Performed several tasks using various applications such as Excel, X-Metal and DPM.X-Metal:The Procedure Authoring Tool [PAT] is the use of X-Metal and ODF [Operations Data Files] –specific customizations that have been provided by the developers to enable the user to generate an XML file. The XML file contains HTML customized tags. HTML [Hypertext Mark-up Language] is what web browsers use to display screen contents.The PAT will generate an XML file that will be viewable via iPV [to view for errors].DPM:Documentum Publishing Module, where a virtual document manager facilitates combining several procedures into one book where the TOC is auto-generated. This Documentum-specific module post-processes Book Manager supplied “trees” and provides overlays for tabs, pagination and necessary front matter.Built PCN’s and Books with Russian and English technical documents.Proposals [over the years]:Supported 3 proposals for Loral: ROCSAT, SRM&QA, and TxDOT [Dept. of Transportation].Supported CAPPS proposal at IBM.Supported Halliburton proposal at I-Net.Supported Engineering Systems Support Contract at Bastion headquarters.
