I am a product (UI/UX) designer and a front-end developer. I am passionate about how a user behaves on a given environment and how strategic design changes can help users make decisions faster. I started as a graphics designer back in 2006. I have worked with major companies in the Maldives like Formax / Islanders Maldives on several advertising projects. My biggest gig was the re-branding for local water brand "Taza" of Island Beverages Maldives in 2010. In 2011 I co-founded Kodefly (formerly Kode). Since then we have produced several digital products and software solutions for government institutes and business organizations across Maldives. We are an agile software engineering company specialized in digital products for small, medium to large enterprises.After 2 and half years in research, in 2018 I co-founded Payer - a unified mobile payment and commerce platform with a vision to make payments simple and hassle-free. The aim of Payer is to create a payment and commerce ecosystem, where customers can manage, pay and track all their finance needs in one platform. You can pay your bills, top-up your mobile phones, pay for tickets, appointments..etc. with Payer. In 2018 my fintech startup Finwice, won the Angel Hack Maldives and is going through a virtual accelerator program (HACKcelerator). Finwice helps you understand spending habits and reach your financial goals with the help of machine learning.
