Overall accountability for the execution of the Data Management strategy from database setup through database lock and the Data Management technology set-up for the project; competently and independently leading large, complex projects and/or programs and providing overall leadership / management and expertise in all aspects of Data Management and Database Programming. General areas of responsibility include: coordination of the relevant Data Operations team members and their activities across all geographies, liaising with project leadership, other functional leaders (clinical, biostatistics, medical, medical writing etc.) and the client as a single point of contact to ensure that the contracted data deliverables are being met – specifically in terms of timeliness, financial management and quality.

A Data Operations Leader provides overall leadership / management for programming / technology, data integration, data processing and statistical services on a project / program. General areas of responsibility include: coordination of the Data Operations team members and their activities across all geographies, liaising with project leadership and the sponsor as a single point of contact to ensure that the Data Operations deliverables with regard to timelines, quality, and productivity are being met. May act as Project Leader for projects involving a small number of services, where no Project Leader is assigned.

The role of the Clinical Data Analyst (CDA) is to independently perform all clinical data cleaning activities on assigned projects, commensurate with experience and/or project role.Responsible for coordinating a moderate to large team or multiple small size protocols as the CDA Coordinator, with minimal to no supervision.
