About Ines Ramos

I'm a dedicated researcher with a strong background in Chemical Engineering and Food Science. I earned my 5 year's degree from the University of Porto and completed a PhD at the Catholic University of Portugal, where I specialized in the modelling and simulation of solar drying and the microstructure of grapes. Over the course of my career, I’ve contributed to the food industry through two years of extension services and three years working on the European ISEKI_Food project. Currently, I am a junior researcher in food technology at the Catholic University of Porto as well as an assistant professor. My passion lies in sustainable drying technologies powered by renewable energy, as well as tackling broader environmental challenges.
