Financial management and organisation of work, acquisition of books and journals (printed and online publications), processing of acquired material, interlibrary loan, increasing the use of the library collection and other library sources, digitisation, development of an online library collection and establishment of an online repository, maintenance of institutes web page, development of project proposals and cooperation in national and international projects, organisation of events (conferences, meetings, colloquia etc.), reporting, statistics etc.

International and national relations: Member of the organisational committee of the SEEDI 2012 conference (South-Eastern European Digitisation Initiative); President of the organisational committee of the First National Congress for Digitisation of Cultural Heritage; Member of the organisational committee of the 2013 IIPC General Assembly (International Internet Preservation Consortium); establishing networks of research librarians and IT developers for submitting new project proposals issued by European Commission (e.g. CCP Culture, HERA, FP7, ICT-PSP, AAL, JHEP). Research and teaching: Organisation and management of interdisciplinary evening lectures on book history and reading development in Slovenia; quality control and dissemination of results from the international project EOD – Book on Demand; management, organisation, design and communication of exhibition about Slovenian dramatist Peter Božič. Advisory work: Member of the Editorial board for National and University Library Web Archive; Member of the expert committee for appointment of new research title. Projects: Writing proposals; finding international project partners; budget, activities and duration planning; seeking new solutions; coordination and management; submissions.

International and national relations: work with IT researchers and librarians from 26 European and other institutions on the IMPACT project – Improving Access to Text; collaboration with researchers from 7 national institutions in development of the Slovenian Digital Encyclopaedia of Natural and Cultural History (DEDI). Research and teaching: collaboration in development of Slovenian historical lexicography and lectures on OCR technology; organisation of digitisation and digital reconstruction of UNESCO protected manuscript Codex Suprasliensis; active participation at international conferences “Book and media science” at University of Vilnius, SEEDI 2011, LIBER 2011, Codex Suprasliensis; publication of scientific papers; management, organisation, design and communication of exhibitions Flores in Colores” and “OCR – What is that?”. Development of the library collection and services: selection, acquisition and cataloguing of library material and other information resources; cataloguing of cultural heritage at the Manuscript Dep.; collaboration in development of the Digital Library of Slovenia – dLib.si and collaboration with the Europeana National Aggregator; work and education of end-users (students, researchers, others). Advisory work: Member of the Editorial Board of Slovenian Digital Encyclopaedia of Natural and Cultural History.
