Garra Publicidade is a publicity agency based in Oporto.At Garra, I was part of the design department, responsible for designing assets for social media for various brands (Água Monchique, Van Zellers, Vila do Conde Fashion Outlet, Sheraton Porto, and others). Daily tasks involved social media content design, motion design and designing any marketing materials to support our clients needs.My secondary task was content production, where I assist the social media manager with photography and video content in a studio. I also edited photography and video content.

Windit is a Copenhagen based start-up that develops a sweat free backpack support, promoting an healthy lifestyle, mobility and hygiene. I moved to Copenhagen for 3 months to join the team as an intern, with the objective of developing the brand and create content for social media. At Windit I was responsible for developing the visual identity of the brand as well as all the social media content.I developed new strategies for social media content production, starting from the ideation to the capture and editing of that content, working with cameras and editing softwares (Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere). As for the branding, I studied the brand and designed multiple assets, culminating in a brand guidelines book. I learned a lot about the world of marketing and how to develop strategies for the B2B and B2C systems and will carry this knowledge for the rest of my professional future. Living in a startup environment was a new challenge, but one I really enjoyed experiencing.

Ricardo Daniel is a studio that focuses on branding. This was my first internship where I had the opportunity to work as a graphic designer, creating graphic content for social media, and to create 3D assets as part of the re-brand of MCoutinho, a large scale project, where I worked with textures, light, post-production effects and more...I had the chance to follow some of the studio's bigger branding projects and learn a lot from it.
