Startup Pirates is a 8-day pre-accelerator for aspiring entrepreneurs. The eight – intensive – days have a clear focus: immerse our pirates in a challenging environment, perfect for failing fast and evolve quickly. By joining the Startup Pirates community, participants have also access to a network of more than 40 global technology companies eager to support their development. So far, +1100 participants have come through the program, more than 100 startups were created and more than €30M were raised by the startups. All these happened in 65 programs, in 20 countries, in 40 cities. Over the last years, our team has gained knowledge and experience in very different dimensions and formats related with startups, innovation and training. In 2014, we launched Startup Pirates Enterprise and together with some clients, we have developed some customised programs. So far we have run several acceleration programs, pre-accelerators, training programs and idea/startup competitions. We have been working with Startup Braga, University of Porto, Porto City Hall, Lisboa City Hall, EDP, Fundação Gulbenkian, Thought For Food Challenge, Tech Peaks, among other organisations.
