Immediately after her arrival she had to become familiar and eventually conduct a study about cognitive bias modification, that was necessary to complement a pending revision of an article to be published. In the shortest time she acquired not only the knowledge about the subject of research and the way of testing but also about the organizational structure of the institute. In very short time she pre-screened, recruited and tested a large number of research participants. Together with two honors-students she conducted another study to explore the role of self-focused attention on behavioral mimicry in high and low socially anxious individuals. This time she was able to show her capacities as team leader. Besides, again and recruiting and testing, she also developed some complementary tasks herself (with the MATLAB software) and coordinated the whole project. All tasks were, again, characterized by high motivation and efficiency. After both of the projects she provided thorough data analyses, and became coauthor of one article. Ine stood out as an interested and bright student, she fit well into the team but was also very independent. She gradually improved her already good research skills, participated in our regular research meetings and coordinated and conducted the projects to a considerable degree by herself. She participated actively and showed a well-founded understanding of our research methods. Her great interest in experimental psychopathology made her a valued member of our group. The report of the internship was very well written showed her excellent understanding of the subject and her good grip of the English language. Ine is truly apt for doing research but the skills that she has shown will be undoubtedly rewarding for any other profession as well. I am convinced that Ine is an exceptionally bright young woman: She is enthusiastic, works well, both independently and in a team. Ine is competent, reliable, and fun to work with.
