I manage the Agency, focusing on its strategic work programme, promotional strategy and human and financial resources. I assist and advise the Agency’s Executive Committee on how to fulfil its functions and monitor developments in the external environment which impact on the Agency’s work. I have editorial control over NALA publications.

I carried out a piece of qualitative research and brought the findings and recommendations of the resulting publication to the attention of politicians and policy makers.

The object of the Council is to protect the public by promoting high standards of professional conduct and professional education, training, and comptence among registrants of the designated professions. CORU will regulate the follwoing professions: Clinical Biochemists, Dietitians, Medical Scientists, Occupational Therapists, Orthoptists, Podiatrists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Radiographers, Social Care Workers and Speech and Language Therapists.
