Direct responsibility for managing a global team of procurement source to pay professionals. Responsibility for developing & iMplementing processes, policies, tools, metrics and training for the Source to Pay Organization. Responsible for partnering with IT and driving projects to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization and ensuring processes are compliant with regulatory and legal requirements (Trade, Sarbanes Oxley, Reach, etc.) on $5.4 billion of spend. Responsibile for benchmarking, developing business cases, and implementing programs to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization (offshoring accounts payable, improving DPO, spend visibility, contract management and the purchase to pay processes. Extensive benchmarking and drive best practices on critical work processes. Key accomplishments include:•Led global team of 30 of Purchase to Pay process and Project managers in North America, Europe and Asia to deliver against Procurement objectives.•Implemented e-Procurement tools to improve contract management, sourcing, spend visibility, catalog buying and Accounts Payable processes (Ariba, Emptoris, SAP, and Opentext workflow•Led project to improve working capital & DPO by 10 days ($100MM cash).•Oversaw project to automate the requisition to pay processes to reduce operating costs •Developed and implemented global processes and systems to improve spend visibility, saving benefits tracking tools, contract management •Managed team of Strategic Sourcing Analysts to support category managers to execute major sourcing projects that delivered over $100MM in savings per year in 2004, 2005, 2006. •Improved Invoice to pay process – increasing first pass invoice processing by 25% •Oversaw project to centralize and offshore Accounts Payable activities to Asia.Specialties: Purchasing, project manager, mergers and acquisitions, and Purchasing tools - Spend Visibility, Contract Management, etc. using SAP, Opentext, Ariba, Lotus Notes
