As a Venture Out Facilitator, I am trained to assist the progress of group bonding at our off-campus high ropes course. This includes explaining safety procedures to participants, walking them through the course, facilitating team challenges, and promoting teamwork. At Venture Out, I encourage participants to live in the uncomfortable and push their boundaries in order to grow.As part of Venture Out, I am also a climbing wall technician at the Mizzou Recreation Center's climbing wall. In this role, I belay climbers as they scamper up the wall, go over safety procedures with climbers, and ensure that all conduct is normal. I am trained in CPR, First Aid, and belay rescue.
