I belonged to a NASCAR support Group SINCH (Staten Island NASCAR Hopefuls). We were a support committe dedicated to helping NASCAR and ISC build a track on Staten Island several yeras ago. We did everything possible to get the word out about the benefits of having a NASCAR track in Staten Island NY. We held many functions, fundraisers, and spread awareness about the positives of NASCAR. Unfortunately, things were put on hold but NASCAR didnt forget our efforts and invited us to all the major events held in NYC such as Media week and Champions week every year.. which has allowed me to initially meet and get to know the top people and drivers in the sport. I knew for a long time that I really wanted to be involved in this sport, so I didn't miss an opportunity to meet and greet with the elites... the invitations extended to different tracks where I met many more drivers, crews, teams, and key icons in the industry. Through FaceBook, I continued to network and meet people involved in NASCAR and it ultimately led me to make the move from Staten Island NY to Race City USA to fulfill my dream job.
