Cake decorating, answering bakery phones, working in the deli, hot foods, and more are some of my well-rounded experiences at Giant. Gaining experience in most sections of the store is a great way to gather knowledge and further succeed in all Giant jobs, or sections. I continue as a bakery associate today.

Interning with the Borgen Project, a non-profit, national campaign to stop global poverty, I volunteered, fund-raised, wrote content for "the good news," and called my Representatives.

Nurturing children's emotional, social, and physical well-being is important. Making sure they have enough healthy food in their bellies, have breaks during homework, that they meet other children in school-hosted events, and more, is a way to succeed in care-taking. I watched two little boys. I did everything written above. I feel proud of how they grew.

The Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance strengthened my drive to create equality for those who identify as a woman or wear women's clothing. Female-based clothing usually does not contain pockets. This takes away the security and comfort of carrying sensitive ID's, credit cards, insurance cards, and more close to the body--a security that purses cannot.

For two years, I volunteered at the Renaissance Dinner Theater, an annual event, at Kutztown University. The Renaissance Club hosted the dinner theater. I prepared the tables, plates, and utensils along with my team. Then I greeted the guests and provided food, and drink.
