As COO I was responsible for the development, design, operation, and improvement of the systems that create and deliver Texcom Construction's products and services to the nation and the world over. I was responsible for ensuring that business operations were efficient and effective and that the proper management of resources, distribution of goods and services to our customers was flawless. At the direction of the company's Manager/Partner, I was able to marshal limited resources to their most productive uses with the aim of creating maximum value for the company's success. We developed the organization’s strategy and mission statement while creating a new culture within our ranking staff. Implementing the appropriate rewards and recognition paradigm, along with coaching the corrective practices that allow us to align personnel with company goals in a more positive manner so that we may better face not only the trying field that is telecom, but our own personal lives. We jointly plan by prioritizing customer, employee, and organizational requirements on multiple projects over multiple markets on multiple levels. Maintaining and monitoring staffing levels, and the expectations and motivations to fulfill organizational requirements, are all part of the normal day. Driving performance schedules for the operation of the company to reach a better understanding of high level key indicators is what I was striving for in my new position.

At the direction of the Owner of the company, I was mostly in charge of deciding what the most productive uses were for our crews on a daily basis. The customer and schedule depended highly on the daily decisions that this role made day to day simply because everyone on the project reported their numbers directly from where my crews were that day or week, or even month depending on what level they were currently looking at the project. The lower the level the closer the view. Developing and cascading the company’s strategy/mission statement to the team I worked for was my 2nd daily objective. To constantly feed them positive reinforcement about the project, my company, the customer and even life, was my 1st. Happy employees are productive employees.
