India- world most populated democratic country, population over 1.42 billion (estimated c.2023).Dependent population- Under 15 years & over 65 years of age- are ~27% & ~7% respectively. The remaining~ 66% of working population, out of this~ 525 million people are in active work ( Labour) force.Organised vs unorganised labour force partion is ~8% & 92%. That means the prime accomplished market force driver in india is roughly 8% of active labour force. The story begins from here......!The corporates have complain that India has mismatch of professionals but is it so...We have Red colour ( the manuals), Blue colour( semi skilled/Clerical), White colour( service driven), Gold colour( Highly knowledged/ Decision/ Policy maker) jobs.Also we have the word class management institutions like IIMs, Engeering Colleges like IITs but Is it necessary that all the best brains enter in such prestigious institutions( Is there any possibility that the best & dynamic brains who have multitalents, diverse thoughts/ vibrant ideas at +2 (Higher secondary level) so may for a very little mark s/he could not get admission in such institutions ? Because there multi talents).Story further goes- These best brains come in market by unconventional route, here no campus selection etc.Further, a average or poor students do his/her HR management by a private colleges after investing a heavy amount to purchase a scrap of paper i.e HR degree certificate. In addition- A executive starts his/her career with a firm with entry level & climb up the ladder after getting experienced of the same work over a spam of time( well trained within wall but not innovative nor adoptive with fast changing generation/equipment etc).His/ Her ability is somewhere between Blue/White colour jobs but s/he interviews a gold colour or more accomplished professionals. Just think what will be the output & what rubbish be the interview that's. So It's the only corporate hiring process responsible for not connecting the right candidate not the candidate.I Md Jawed Akhtar believe in merit not scrap of degree certificate.
