Andrea Karalus is a Senior Repair Design Fellow for the Aftermarket & Sustainment Engineering group at Pratt & Whitney. Her responsibilities for the aftermarket engineering business segment include establishing training of the mechanical design practitioners, utilizing and creating tools to perform repair design assessment and implementing processes to produce competitively superior mechanical solutions.This position requires Andrea to work with a team of disciplines to maintain the engineering quality system for Pratt & Whitney’s Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul business and work closely with other Raytheon Technologies organizations to assure that best practices and experiences are captured and utilized. This is a very dynamic and global position with repair business units and practitioners all over the world.Andrea’s career has spanned over 35 years at Pratt & Whitney & the former United Technologies Research Center, both a division of Raytheon Technologies.Andrea earned her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at the State University of New York at Buffalo and her M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
