Developed a contract with Canada Post and subcontracted door-to-door delivery of flyers, catalogs and newspapers in North Eastern Ontario, specifically North Bay,West Nipissing and Temagami Shores, delivering one million pieces of third class mail to homes each year. Started the business in my home and then working out of my garage, I later moved to a small warehouse just down the street. Inevitably the company grew and I required a much larger warehouse located in the industrial sector of North Bay, Ontario, Canada. This business was taken over by Canada Post in 2010 by what can only be called unscrupulous tactics and another example of big business (this one owned by the government of Canada) taking over small business As soon as our net income reached 200K per year, the local postal master did everything in his power to put me out of business, eventually succeeding in 2010. I won't argue that I didn't have my own issues with running the business, and during a tumultuous period in my life, I decided to let the business go without any further fight. A couple of years later, I had success online and I decided then that my fate would lie in building my business online now. I took several years to learn the basics, but now I am prepared to take my online business to the next level.
