Last two years have seen extended contracts on HS2 and supporting NR Cost Planning . Together with First principles Estimating for AMCO and BAM and other tier two contractors . WE use Candy Estimating package and am familiar with Causeway and ConQuest . Open to short and long term contract appointments . Previously I have Several years experience on Contract as Cost planning manager with NR for the North of England , reporting to the NR head of Estimating Several years on Trans Pennine upgrade responsible for the review and assurance of £ multi billion estimates . Including reviewing and inputting to risk workshops and processes. actively supporting major Contractors with estimates and bid preparation. Taking responsibility for the development of bid strategy and the production of first principles pricing and the development of subcontractor enquiries and the subsequent analysis, taking completed tenders to director adjudication. Alteration and refurbishment of historical and listed structures , major joinery and masonry contracts , Extensive experience of setting and developing budgets for D and B and commercial developments. Extensive experience of Tendering for frameworks for maintenance and new build. First principles estimating in site and shop joinery , masonry and all traditional trades . Extensive experience of building restoration and refurbishment . Left company to pursue new challenges.
