Main responsibilities and roles:Financing activities:- Providing expert consultation to potential beneficiaries and financial intermediaries, including banks, non-banking organizations, regarding micro-financing and SME financing procedures, terms, and conditions.- Conducting a thorough screening of loan applications for financing, ensuring their compliance with eligibility criteria, and preparing Individual Loan Agreements.- Performing pre- and post-financing monitoring of investments funded within IFAD Projects, which involves conducting field visits and engaging in regular phone conversations.- Maintaining accurate records of beneficiaries, loans, and other technical assistance provided within IFAD Projects.Rural development activities:- Designing and implementing capacity development activities specifically tailored for micro-entrepreneurs, young entrepreneurs, and women entrepreneurs.- Conducting capacity development activities within the Saving and Credit Associations (SCAs) sector to enhance their operational effectiveness.- Organizing and delivering financial education activities targeted at promoting financial literacy and entrepreneurial skills.

Financing activities- registration of loan applications received from Banks, MFIs and SCAs and verification of the accuracy of loan application documents;- ensure the delivery of Individual Loan Agreements to the participating financial institutions and maintain records of transfer of funds according to the loan agreements signed;- enter the information on loans and beneficiaries in the information system and maintenance of the data according to the requirements set out in the project;- keeping the loan application files as required;- carry out field visits for monitoring and other purposes;- meetings, presentations, telephone conversation, electronic communication etc. regarding the microfinance services.​Capacity development- planning of capacity development activities within SCAs together with relevant SCA sector stakeholders;- preparing TOR, planning and organising capacity development activities for staff members of NCFM and SCA apex organisations;- preparing study tours for staff members of NCFM and SCA apex organisations;- preparing ToR, planning and organising training activities for prospective microfinance borrowers;- preparing ToR, planning and organising training activities for Financial Literacy of microentrepreneurssupervision of capacity development activities delivered by service providers;- quality evaluation of training efforts provided by service providers;- analysis of beneficiaries’ questionnaires relating to capacity development activities;- maintaining records and relevant information on capacity development activities;- maintaining all correspondence with MFIs and SCAs, and informing PFIs on the respective IPSC decisions (including terms and conditions)Other activities- participating in preparing work plans relating to the microfinance and SCA capacity development activities;- assisting IFAD supervision and design missions, including preparation of required reports on financial services;
