Andrew Ing is Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance & Risk at Hunter Dickinson Inc. (HDI), a Canadian corporation that since 1985 has grown to be among the largest and most successful mine development groups in North America. He is also the CEO and CFO of mineral exploration and development companies (public / listed and private) associated with HDI. Andrew is a Chartered Accountant, holds the designation of Corporate Finance and has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University. He also holds various designations specializing in corporate governance, internal audit and the strategic management of information technology. Andrew has more than 15 years of experience in the natural resources sector (mining / metals, renewables and forestry). His focus is on corporate development activities, with an emphasis on capital finance, business agreement negotiations and risk management. Andrew previously held positions with professional services firms PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, providing advisory services to mining companies in Asia, Europe and the Americas. Andrew also focuses on metals and mining capital finance and investment in Asia, in particular China/Hong Kong and Republic of Korea. Andrew enjoys golfing, understanding the art-science of winemaking and the fine arts, in particular music, as he volunteers as a cantor, singer and conductor/Music Director in the local community.
