My main occupation was to perform ethical hacking and vulnerability analysis tasks, so I worked with tools such as Acunetix, Burp Suite and Nessus, among others, to simulate the offensive attitude of a real attacker.Besides these tasks, I used my software engineering skills to develop (in Python) specific tools for the company, managing to automate certain processes so that the entire red team would be more efficient in their work. The main goal was to allow analysts to focus on validating threats, rather than worrying about how to deal with huge quantities of vulnerabilities that arise in automatic scans, through a remediation-oriented grouping of findings. Additionally, developed software simplified the reporting stage while maintaining high quality levels, by allowing analysts to focus on vulnerabilities while minimizing those tasks related to the document organization and formatting.To a lesser extent, I have also supported for a brief time the Security Operations Center (SOC) team, where I collaborated in internal projects to improve their processes with Wazuh and other systems, in a position oriented to cybersecurity defense.
