Als Nederlandstalig redacteur was ik verantwoordelijk voor het onderhoud van en (commerciële) communicatie rond het digitaal contentplatform HRMConnect, gericht op HR in lokale besturen. Dit omvat onder meer:- het schrijven van originele bijdragen op basis van de actualiteit;- het reviseren van manuscripten en artikels;- de coördinatie en opvolging van het driemaandelijks tijdschrift Impuls (Exello.net)- het samenstellen van de maandelijkse nieuwsbrief;- het contact met (potentiële) auteurs;- het detecteren van (inhoudelijke) opportuniteiten.Als redactiefacilitator was ik vooral gericht op het verbinden van redacteurs over verschillende teams heen, met als doel dialoog op gang te brengen rond prioriteiten, manieren van werken, gedragen engagementen en doelstellingen. Daarnaast verzorgde ik mee de uitrol van een nieuw communicatieplatform vanuit change perspectief.

My project focused on physical causation, as opposed to causation in physics. Causation in physics treats the laws of physics as their main study subject. I focused instead on contexts where objects behave according to the laws of physics (both natural, like a waterfall, and artificial, like machines) rather than on the laws itself. I argued that this approach can solve the paradox of apparent a-causal laws (due to their time-symmetry and the symmetry of the mathematical equality) and causal applications of these laws. The laws appear to be a-causal since their is no clear causal reference in the laws (as opposed to laws in genetics that clearly state "genotype x causes fenotype y") and they express time-symmetrical processes. Temporal asymmetry is considered quite important for distinguishing causes from effects and when the process described by the law can happen in one temporal direction, but also - without any problem or need for extra description - in the other, the difference between cause and effect becomes quite vague. According to some, it becomes idiotic and most of all irrelevant.I did not engage in this discussion but want to focus on causal applications of the laws. E.g. Galilei's laws were used to improve artillery. We use the laws to change things in our world, to engage causally with the world. By analyzing contexts where physical objects engage, I plan to study the causal relations that pertain between objects instead of in laws.I finished my dissertation in 2017. Project on Logic and Philosophy of Science. For the Philosophy of Science part, I mainly worked on Causation (specifically Interventionist views), with a special focus on (applied) physics. My Logic interests went to devising formal tools for expressing relevant implications in a classical logical context, and alternative proof systems to express this new implication in a more profound way.
