- Representation of the Netherlands in the European Union on sport related topics. - Working on the National Strategy on Major Sport Events to increase the value of major sport events to society. - Create opportunities to make major sport events a more sustainable and healthy environment. - Enhancing governance on tackling matchfixing.

During my two year traineeship at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment, I was able to work at multiple location. This is how I gained experience on the following topics: - International relations, for example the role NL in the ILO and the EU. - Representing the Netherlands on economic affairs at the NL embassy in Ottawa, Canada. - Creating communication tools (such as campaigns) for the government.- General policy experience on creating policy on working conditions.

During my traineeship I temporarily worked as an economic officer for the NL embassy in Ottawa, Canada. Therefore, I have prepared a trade mission with Dutch companies during the visit of Minister President Mark Rutte to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. I also did research and creatied tools for Dutch companies to use CETA to access the Canadian market.

I wrote my thesis at the Erasmus University Rotterdam on tradebarriers, especially if Bolivian farmers experiences European food safety measures as a trade barrier. As a part of my research, I did an internship at the Bolivian Chamber of Commerces and worked together with Bolivian Chia Farmers and the CBI (EU Centre for the Promotion of Imports from developing countries)
