The eco-system of startups and scale-up companies on the Open Manufacturing Campus on the Philips site inspired me to take a career step outside the multinationals. Since 1st of November 2018, I am co-owner and CEO of Ergotrics NV, a medtech startup specialized in positioning and moving patients with compressed air in healthcare. As a senior leader I gained a broad international experience in managing procurement, product innovation, operations (outsourcing and factories) and supply chain. I am recognized for my strengths in leadership, strategy, change management, project management and team building. Furthermore, I am strongly engaged with an active role on several Boards (Open Manufacturing Campus, Flanders Make and Agoria Vlaanderen) and city politics. Personal competences: An enthusiastic, motivational and strategic leader, with ‘can do’ mentality and a passion for people and continuous improvement. A logic thinker and efficient do-er, capable to take decisions, getting things done and realize a vision, thriving under stress and in a complex environment.
