Author of The Case against Death, MIT Press 2022.I wrote my thesis on moral theory: A Critique of Nonnaturalist Moral Realism.I have taught a wide variety of philosophy courses as an assistant professor for the Department of Technology, Culture and Society at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. Courses include a course called Ethics and Technology where we look at moral issues surrounding technology; a course called Death, Longevity and Values about philosophical issues surrounding life-extension, and a course called Ethics and Moral Theory about empirical approaches to ethics from Democritus to contemporary experimental ethics. I also regularly taught a graduate level class in bioethics for the Department of Biomedical Engineering also at NYU, and I am a frequent guest lecturer at their colloquium.
