Supporting a seed-stage climate start-up with developing their business narrative pack to assist with the communication of their business logic and core narrative to investors

Provides climate change advisory to listed corporates and financial institutions (DFI's, PE funds, banks, venture funds). Specific work areas include:- Climate finance: due diligence, green and transition finance frameworks- GHG accounting (scope 1, 2 and 3)- Climate risk and scenario analysis: transition and physical risk- Renewable power systems and resource efficiencyRelevant standards, frameworks and policies include TCFD, CDP, PCAF, GHG Protocol, IPCC Guidelines for National GHG Inventories, CBI, ICMA, Green Finance Taxonomies, SA Carbon Tax & NGERS, Equator Principles, IFC Performance Standards and more.

Supports the Resource Efficiency & Climate Change andSustainability Reporting & Assurance service areas. This includes providingtechnical skills and support by way of carbon footprints, climate change strategy, CDPresponses, sustainability systems development and sustainability data assurance, etc. In some instances, support is also provided to the Sustainable Finance service area.

Performed data analysis & research on renewable energy, energy efficiency and carbon offsetting projects for countries in Africa.

Responsible for the daily supply of fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs & flowers to the restaurants & hotel; organised & managed various farm & garden projects.

Participated in daily business operations incl. site inspections, project planning, meetings as well as visits to various engineering related sites & operations in the area.

Developed a program for the accurate burn-rate prediction of a missile, based on experimental data analysis using Matlab and Excel coding
