Stony Point Center welcomes guests of all backgrounds into an open space that invites spiritual renewal, courageous thinking and strategic planning to heal ourselves, our communities, and our world. In my interim role, I am working to rebuild the Center in the wake of the pandemic, setting up for success when the new executive director is hired. I focus on the overall guest experience onsite and online, throughout the experience of choosing, planning, hosting and reflecting on events held here. Additionally, I am setting up an invigorating, challenging, cross-disciplinary subject-based think-tank at the Center that will broadcast out content to support the ministries of the Presbyterian Church (USA). Because justice work is good for all regardless of race, religion, gender orientation or any other expression of humanity, AND desperately needed, Stony Point Center is excited to continue supporting the PC(USA)'s work on dismantling systemic racism, addressing the root causes of poverty and oppression, as well as revitalizing congregations. I am both humbled and grateful to get to be a part of this storied space's journey.
