Als conservator Ontwikkeling, Zingeving en Ontspanning ben ik inhoudelijk verantwoordelijk voor een deel van de roerende collectie van het Nederlands Openluchtmuseum. Daarnaast was ik zeer nauw betrokken bij het opstellen van het Collectieplan Verrijken en versterken (2021-2028). Ook werkte ik aan de tentoonstelling (On)beperkt. Leven met een handicap (maart 2023-januari 2025) en de tentoonstelling Heb je een vuurtje voor mij? (2020) over alledaagse ontmoetingen. Bijzonder vermeldenswaard is het particiatieve verzamelproject over menstruatiecultuur: welke voorwerpen en verhalen moet het Nederlands Openluchtmuseum verzamelen om de geschiedenis van de omgang met menstruatie te kunnen vertellen tussen 1965 en nu? Dit project startte in mei 2023.

Selection of exhibitions and catalogues worked on:- Exhibition and publication on relics as a worldwide phenomenon, not specifically religious, and of all times. Relics exist because of the meaning people give to them. Their meaning and ascribed power, make them wanted and treasured.- Exhibition and book on the development of St. Francis of Assisi in Art history (2016): Henk van Os and I have been working closely together on a special exhibition about the representation of St. Francis of Assisi in Art History. Over 40.000 visitors came to see the exhibition in only three months.- Research for an exhibition about charity in the Low Countries (2014-2015).- Tanja Kootte and I worked closely together on an exhibition and book about the relationship of women with the christian church through the ages (2012). About 30.000 people came to see the exhibition.

The exhibition was about women in the history of Christianity in The Netherlands. With beautiful paintings and extraordinary objects, we told many new and mostly unknown stories about Christian women from early middleages until now.

In a team of four enthousiastic people we developed a practicle handbook for churches: Handreiking roerend religieus erfgoed.Main goal is to help the owners and users of churches with giving significance to their objects (with the so-called Waarderingskader roerend religieus erfgoed). If a church has to close, the handbook contains a practical list of steps which can help people to do everything in the best order in relation to the objects (Stappenplan voor herbestemming religieuze voorwerpen). This handbook could not have been completed without the close involvement of many: above all the representatives of heritage-institutions and the representatives of various Dutch churches.

In 2006 I participated in the project called Digestum Digitaal. The 15th century citybook 'Digestum Vetus' (Kampen, The Netherlands) contains lots of little drawings about citylife and justice. The examination and description of the drawings resulted in a little exhibition in the city archive of Kampen. Also I participated in a workshop about the significance of this kind of books.

Keramiekmuseum Het Princessehof

During this internship I worked with two curators on a new semi permanent exhibition on Dutch ceramics from the art nouveau period (about 1880 to 1930). The exhibition was displayed from february 2005 to march 2009 and is again to be seen since november 2009.
