Implementations of baseline changes and respond to change requests.Responsible for the quality of all provided and supported I.S. services, and ensures that maintenance of business is taken care of. Remains up-to-date on all implemented I.S. services and ensures the availability of applications and workstation equipment. Maintains a service desk tool (Peregrine) to log, organize action and to follow-up on all user reported problems or requests for I.S. support, which relates to supported I.S. applications, services and/or hardware and miscellaneous end-user requests.Assist in creating and testing the quality of each new release of a workstation configuration before its implementation and, in doing so, acquire the knowledge that he/she needs to provide support.Responsible for the availability, reliability and software configuration of all installed network and communications equipment, including the maintenance of several production servers.Ensure that license agreements are in place and followed with each installation and/or modification to installation.Ensure that appropriate manuals, self-study material and documentation are available for the benefit of the I.S. Operations staff and end-users.Maintain knowledge and understanding of the installed network infrastructure and server software/configuration in order to provide assistance to the Network Supervisor at all times.Manage and ensure the availability, performance, reliability, functionality of all installed computer equipment by providing support for PC hardware, PC tools and network functions. Analyze the needs of end-users regarding network functions and computer equipment, capability and capacity requirements, to evaluate alternatives, to propose, test and implement requested new functionality.Responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of all in-house written applications in the manufacturing environment as well as for the equipment these applications are running on.
