As a physicist by training and an entrepreneur at heart, my ambition is to explore the world around me and look beyond the obvious. I want to get things done, especially when at first they seem impossible. With the dedicated team at trinamiX, we turned ideas into reality: Our solutions range from face authentication to mobile near-infrared spectroscopy solutions and consumer spectroscopy. All of them born from a pioneer spirit to redefine what‘s possible. So what was the spark to light the fire? In 2007, I joined BASF as part of the organic solar research project. Working as a Team Leader in R&D, I made a surprising discovery: What seemed to be a measurement error, turned out to be a novel approach to measure distance. Determined to bring this discovery to real-world use, I embarked on a journey to make a product out of this discovery. Realizing the first prototypes, convincing the BoD of BASF and external customers to invest in this idea, growing a great global team and founding the start-up trinamiX out of the corporate world of BASF were some of the milestones on this early journey. Today, trinamiX builds bridges to the hidden world of data all around us - with next generation solutions that have a positive impact on people‘s lives.
