Knapton Generator Station/Kirby Misperton

Production Technician responsible for the KMA Wellhead site at Kirby Misperton North Yorkshire, for the perpetration for the Fracking operation on KM-8.Responsible for Permit to Work and Safe Operations on the Well Head Site.Liaise with the Well Site Supervisor and Lead Technician at Knapton Generator Station and NLSS Security services.Respond to Safety issues, along with the site safety officer.During night shift, the Third Energy presence onsite, responsible for dealing security issues, due to the Anti-Fracking protester presence outside the site.Liaising with Security/Well Engineer/Knapton during any Emergency Situation.Gas Testing of Well Head site, monitoring ground level methane detection.Ensuring the live wellhead and process area has no conflict with the Well Fracking Operation.Assist with media visits, BBC, ITV and local papers.Ensure all third party operations do not conflict with Well Operations, eg Environmental Agency, HSE, Noise monitoring Engineer.Respond to night shift noise issues, in the local village of Kirby Misperton.

Ballanaboy Gas Terminal, Ireland.

Working during the commissioning of the high-profile Ballenaboy Gas Terminal. • Utilising a state-of-the art modern combined-process Digital Control System, integrating Fire & • Gas and Emergency Shut Down via a single Windows-based system.• Directing a team of up to ten Plant Operators to effectively coordinate operations. • Responsible for maintenance of control room systems to ensure correct functionality.• Reporting to the Operations Production Coordinator to ensure smooth completion of activities.

Based at the Carrington Plant, producing a range of industrial chemicals & plastics including polystyrene, detergents, brake fluid, & anti-freeze.• Primarily a mechanical discipline, also involved in overhaul of process instrumentation.• Providing maintenance support to the plant processing operations.• Annual shutdown of major equipment including steam & gas turbines.• Became a leading member of a condition monitoring team, under the Noise & Vibration Engineer.
