During my master thesis I studied the kinetics between the reaction of DNA/RNA and different platinum compounds such as cisplatin and oxaliplatin. These platinum compounds are used as anticancer agents. To be able to study the kinetics of the reaction, reverse-phase HPLC and UV/VIS spectroscopy were used. I also investigated the thermodynamic properties of platinum-bound and unbound DNA/RNA using UV/VIS-spectroscopy.

I worked as an administrator at the student accommodation house Micklagård, where I handled the contracts with the lessees. Other tasks involved handling contacts, inspecting rooms and making sure that the house was supplied with everything it needed.
